Culture Populaire, Assembling of 90 cuckoo clocks / 2001
Collection Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain

A strange sculpture/object whose somewhat haphazard form looks like a map made from 90 cuckoo clocks which work in what looks like an equally random way: a mountain of little wooden chalets decorated with hearts, flowers and birds which give a new narrative twist to the frustrated rhythm of pendulums and swings, the denatured music of time derailed, the entropy of hands and desires. »
