Head On Cai Guo-Qiang
'Head On' by Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang at the Deutsche Guggenheim in Berlin. The installation consists a pack of 99 life-sized wolves, fabricated from painted sheepskins and stuffed with hay and metal wires, barreling in a continous stream towards - and into - a glass wall.
Cai Guo-Qiang was born in 1957 in the city of Quanzhou in the province of Fujian; today, he is considered one of the most important representatives of contemporary Chinese art.
