Shindai is the "ancient Japanese art of bed fighting" presented in a book of the same title, credited to "Madame Nobunaga". Shindai is purportedly a form of ritualised pillow fighting practiced between samurai warriors and geisha, but the "martial" art was, in fact, invented by British humourist and hoaxer Jonathon Routh, who was the actual author of the book.
But if all of you pick up the pillows and start to fight...
it may become a real art one day.
